Brandon Valley Sr Legion Falls 16-5 To Stillwater, MN Despite Wilson Kolbeck's Effort

  • Brandon Valley Sr Legion racked up eight hits, but it wasn't enough, as Brandon Valley Sr Legion were 16-5 losers on Saturday at the hands of Stillwater, MN at Maple Grove, MN. 
  • Wilson Kolbeck paced Brandon Valley Sr Legion at the plate. Kolbeck went 1-1 and scored two runs. He singled in the sixth inning.

  • Stillwater, MN went up for good in the third, scoring two runs on two singles. 
  • Stillwater, MN piled on three more runs in the top of the fourth. Austin Murr started the inning with a double, plating Benjamin Peterson
  • Stillwater, MN added eight more runs in the top of the sixth. A steal of home scored Thomas Brochu for the inning's first run. 
  • After pushing across one run in the bottom of the sixth, Brandon Valley Sr Legion faced just a 16-5 deficit. An RBI single by Tyler Zimmerman gave Brandon Valley Sr Legion life. Sutherland ended the game by getting Ryan Meyer to.
