Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity's late runs seal 12-4 blowout over Watertown

Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity beat Watertown 12-4 on Friday thanks to a six-run seventh inning.

Cole VanderBeek helped Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity take the lead for good in the seventh inning. Jacob Mulder singled to get on base in the seventh. He then went from first to second on a groundout by Luke Bauske.

Cole VanderBeek was solid at the plate for Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity. Cole VanderBeek went 1-4, reached on an error, drove in one, and scored two runs.

Luke Bauske got the win for Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity. He pitched 1 1/3 shutout innings. Luke Bauske struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity's Nic Peterson, Jacob Adams and Cole VanderBeek combined for four hits and five RBIs.

In the bottom of the second, Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity grabbed the early lead, 4-0. Dylan Tibke singled to ignite Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity's offense. Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity then tacked on more runs when Bruget scored on a groundout by Jacob Mulder, Tibke scored on an RBI single by Cole VanderBeek, and VanderBeek scored.
