Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity top Aberdeen behind Jacob Adams's five hits, 15-5

An exceptional effort by Jacob Adams led Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity to a 15-5 win in seven innings over Aberdeen on Thursday at Floyd Fitzgerald Stadium.

Jacob Adams racked up six RBIs on five hits for Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity. He singled in the first inning, homered in the third and fourth innings, and doubled in the sixth and seventh innings.

Six runs in the opening three innings allowed Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity to easily put away Aberdeen. An RBI single by Jared Mulder and an error during the first inning supplied the early offense for Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity.

Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity hit three home runs in the win. Home runs for Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity came when Jacob Adams homered in the third and fourth innings and Jacob Bruget homered in the sixth inning.

Even though Jacob Bruget allowed five runs over four innings he still recorded the victory. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered five hits.

After posting four runs in the third, Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity again scored four in the sixth. In the third, Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity scored on a solo home run by Jacob Adams.

Five runs in the top of the fourth helped Aberdeen close its deficit to 6-5. An RBI single by Lorenz, an RBI single by Paulson, an RBI double by Lorrels, a sacrifice fly by Andera, and a fielder's choice sparked Aberdeen's rally. Stotz to end the Aberdeen threat.
