A tight game was decided in the eighth inning as Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity fell to Rapid City Post 22 6-5 on Wednesday at Floyd Fitzgerald Stadium.

Jacob Adams had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the third inning.

Johnson got the win for Rapid City Post 22. He allowed two runs over two innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Rapid City Post 22 was sparked by Riddle and Schaeffer, who teamed up for six hits and five RBIs.

In the top of the first, Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity grabbed the early lead, 2-0. Nic Peterson singled to ignite Brandon Valley Lynx Varsity's offense, before Jacob Adams homered, scoring Nic.

Rapid City Post 22 went up for good in the eighth, scoring one run on a sacrifice fly by Schaeffer.
