Lynx Start State 2-0

BV got off to a fast start in the 2025 13U State Tournament.  The Lynx went 2-0 on day defeating Brookings 7-3 and Yankton 12-2.  In the opener Jackson Lubinus paced the Lynx on the mound and at the plate.  Lubinus pitched 4 solid innings and Homered at the plate.  

In the nightcap the Lynx behind the pitching of Brock Cotton picked up the 12-2 victory.  Cotton struck out 3 over four solid innings to pick up the win.  

The Lynx will now battle Spearfish on Saturday at 5 pm. With a win BV will move on to bracket play on Sunday.  

Lynx Looking to Make a Run at State

Your 2025 13u Lynx are looking to make a run at the 2025 State Tournament.  After a 25-12 regular season, which included a title at the Pizza Ranch Tournament and runner up finishes in Fargo and the Sunshine Foods Tournament the Lynx head to State this weekend in Brookings.  
The Lynx open up against the host team the Brookings Bobcats.  The Lynx and Cats split a doubleheader a week and a half ago.  The Lynx will finish up pool play with games against Yankton and Spearfish.  
 

BV vs Brookings - 1030 am Friday (SDSU)
BV vs Yankton - 1 pm Friday (SDSU)
BV vs Spearfish - 5 pm Saturday (BSF)

Lynx Send Goats to Pasture

On a warm, humid Thursday morning with the grass growing while the game was going on the 13U Lynx sent the Yardgoats to pasture.  The Lynx came out strong and behind the pitching of Riley Waldner and Jackson Lubinus brought home a 6-1 victory in the opening round of the SEBA Mid Summer Classic.  The Lynx have 3 games remaining in pool play.  One game on Friday and two  games Saturday.  Go get’ ‘em boys!
