2020 Fall Baseball

Ages 15-18 on January 1, 2020 or in 9th-12th Grade.

What is Fall Baseball?  Fall baseball is an opportunity to for our players to build on their technical skills during practice and gain tactical knowledge which will be used during our fall games.  The players will be involved in an experience that promotes sportsmanship, skill enhancement through instruction, teamwork, respect for the game, and love of baseball.

Practices: All Sr. League practices will be held at First National Bank Field or Legion Community Park.  Sr. Legion will practice on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:45 to 5:30.

                    -September 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, October 1

Acceleration Program:  Due to BV Athletic recommendations our normal Acceleration Program will be added into practice times.  I’m currently working on a time for our team to lift at the High School.

Games: This year we will limiting outside participation and keeping Fall Ball in house.  Players will be given opportunities to have inter-squad scrimmages.  By having scrimmage games, we will be able to focus more on player development during a game like setting. **The purpose of Fall Ball is player development and not the number of games are played!

Expectations:  The players will be expected to be on time, work hard, be coachable, be positive, and be respectful. (Respect: the game, players, coaches, umpires, and equipment) The players will need to be properly equipped for practice and games.
