A one-run sixth inning helped bring Lynx Varsity within four. An RBI single by Livingston set off Lynx Varsity rally. But, Berheim got Ethan Horner to fly out to end the inning.

Pierre tacked on another three runs in the seventh. Badger started the inning with a triple, scoring Nick Rabern. That was followed up by Quinn Reimers's single, bringing home Badger.

After pushing across five runs in the bottom of the eighth, Lynx Varsity faced just a 8-6 deficit. A sacrifice fly by Livingston, a sacrifice fly by Horner, an RBI single by Kyle Bailey, an error, and a passed ball fueled Lynx Varsity's comeback. Cal Kedik flew out to end the Lynx Varsity threat.
