Thomas Scholten

  • Years Played:  I started T-Ball in Brandon and played every season since then.
  •  Best Baseball Memory:  Winning a State High School Baseball Championship in 2018!
  •  Favorite Coach:  Thanks to all my coaches along the way.  Coach Warren Terveer, Paul Sanow, and my dad for teaching me to love the game of baseball, Coach Adams and Beek for making baseball fun, Coach Schneiderman, Coach Steemken, and Coach Vanheel for being mentors to me and always believing in me.  My favorite is Coach Terveer because he always calmed me down after my dad yelled at me.
  •  Favorite Position:  DH
  •  Future Plans:  I will be going to Augustana University and playing football.  I will major in Biology and my goal is to be a Radiologist or Orthopedic Surgeon someday.
  •  Favorite School Subject:  Chemistry with Mr. Stadem and Anatomy
  •  Favorite Field:  BV has the best field but I liked playing at Harrisburg or Renner since that is where I hit my most homeruns!
  •  Best Baseball memory:  When Aydin Lloyd hit a walk off in the Triple Crown Baseball Tournament and we won the whole thing!  My baseball friends and families are very special to me and I am very thankful for the memories and fun we have had over the years.  We won a lot of games but playing with my friends is something I will never forget.
  •  Covid Story:  I have liked playing golf with my buddies and playing Fortnite.

Thanks to my family, the BVBA, my coaches, teammates, baseball families, fans, and the Brandon Valley baseball community for all your support over the past seasons.

THOMAS - BEST OF LUCK WITH YOUR FUTURE PLANS.  THE BVBA IS VERY THANKFUL FOR ALL THE CONTRIBUTIONS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY HAVE MADE TO MAKE OUR PROGRAM BETTER.  THANK YOU!
