Little League Minor is a fun and exciting recreation league for youth ages 9 & 10 as of April 30, 2017.  At the end of the registration period the youth will be divided evenly into teams with 10-12 players per team (depending on registration numbers and the number of volunteer coaches).  LL Minor typically plays on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Aspen Park in Brandon. Practices start in mid-April and regular season games start in mid-May and run through the end of June.  There are typically 10 games during the regular season and up to 4 games for the League year-end tournament.  The season will end in early July. 

Players will experience pitching for the first time in this league.  Pitch count rules are in effect to protect all players.  Players will also be allowed to steal bases.  League provided umpires will be at all games.  A complete list of rules is provided on the league website.

The BVBA also offers the opportunity for LL Minor players to be evaluated for competitive travel teams that will play tournaments on weekends. This opportunity is dependent on finding volunteer coaches, and the formation of these teams will be decided after a separate pre-season evaluation session. There are additional time and financial considerations for travel team participants.
